The Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) cultural park

GWK is a the statue of the god Vishnu which is standing upright in Bukit Ungasan Jimbaran Bali. Made by a sculpture which is graduated from ITB (Institute of Bandung Technology ), I Nyoman Nuarta. It will reach 145 meters of height, higher than the Statue of Liberty, New York and planned to be the highest monument in the world.
The position Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue is located on the hill which is 300 metres above sea level and this will be a landmark that welcomes anyone who set foot on the island of Bali.

Due to some constraints, the statue is a little choked up. Since built in 1997, up to the current condition of the statue just 15 percent of which consists of a statue of god Vishnu and the Garuda. In the area, there are exhibition centers, restaurants, flower lotus pond, dioramas, Giri Kencana Villa, amphiteater and trade promotion center.And a concert arena will be built in the middle-cliffs of limestone.

Access
The road to the GWK is the same way to the area of Uluwatu Temple. So, you can see the GWK first and then Uluwatu
