Balinese Concerned abandoned Travelers

Bali tourism competitiveness tends to wane in the last few years. If the condition continues then within a period of 5-10 years, the main tourist destinations of the world that tourists will begin to be abandoned.

This was disscussed in at Tourism Management Workshop held Bali Bali Tourism Friends (BTF) in Kuta, Friday (30 / 1). Present as the speaker is former Minister of Economic Affairs Prof. Dr. Dorodjatun Kuntjoro-Jakti, a former Constitutional Court judge Dewa Gede Palguna, and Dean of Faculty of Letters Udayana University, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Ardika.

Dorodjatun said, donations for the tourism sector total gross regional domestic product (GDP) in Bali stagnant range of 30-35 percent per year in the period 2004-2007 years. Although a number of factors influence both in and outside the country, such as terrorism and economic fluctuation (rise in oil prices fall), it is an omen weakening the competitiveness of tourism Bali.
